Ashtyn is in a little dance class right now. She is learning tap and ballet. She loves it. This was her very first dance performance, which was performed in the basement of her teachers house, where her lessons take place. She is the one in the blue mermaid costume in the middle.

I always have great intentions and ideas of what to post but I am just too far behind. I looked at my numbers for posts per year and each year keeps getting less and less, when really I should be posting more and more. I am hoping to do better this year. Starting today.
Here is some shots from Halloween.

So another thing that we want to do better on this year is home improvement. We have been here 2 1/2 years and have little to show for it. So we started off last fall with a big improvement on the outside. We painted the house. I guess I shouldn't say we because we did it just after Dalton was born and so I didn't really do much. Our house has needed a new paint job since we moved in so wow what an improvement. So here is the before shot back in the summer.

And then here is the fall shot that was taken after the paint job.

We have had a few new things happen to us that we are excited about. One, I got a new do, which we love, me especially.

It is always nice to have a fun change once in a while. And the second thing is that we bought a new van. All I can say is finally!! I am soooo excited. I have been driving around in our nice little mazda for the last couple of years. And now with "D" here it has been nice and cozy. We have been fine all squeezing into the car but we were looking forward to having something bigger. Well, we have kind of been shopping and just looking but really felt like we should wait a little longer. So I was content and happy being cozy and comfy in our little car, but would drool at each van that I saw drive by while out and about. Well, now I have to pinch myself because I actually got one of the vans that I was always drooling about. A Honda Odyssey. And I can say, we truly all love love love our new van. It is perfect for us. We all fit in with room to spare. We could actually take a little trip in our van now. Yipee! It is a good color. It is in excellent condition and we are just so thankful that we were able to be blessed with the perfect opportunity to get it.

And finally here is just some fun pictures and fun things that we did in the last couple of months. Here is Dalton at two months old. He just keeps growing and changing so fast.

Here is the girls one morning reading books to Dalton.

Here is my mom and me going to Phantom when in came in October. It was awesome. She had never been to anything like that.

Here is Dalton at 2 1/2 months.

We went on a fun train ride that happens north of Spokane. It was so fun to ride and there and see the scenery. The kids loved it.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!
The weather here in Spokane is crazy. It definitely brings on new meaning to this song...Oh the weather outside is frightful,
It started snowing here yesterday between 8:30 and 9:00am . We were in our house getting ready for Ashtyn to go to school. Well, on my way taking her to school it had snowed enough that it was sticking to the road and the grass was green and white.
Well it didn't stop snowing until about an hour ago. That is 32hours of snowing. Here is Sam trying to shovel his way into the house after working today.

And because of all that snow we have broken records and have over 20 inches of snow in our yard. Our cars are buried.
The girls went out and tried to play in it and Hailey's foot got stuck and she lost her boot and I had to go out and rescue her. They have had fun making trails and enjoying the snow though.
Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

More Previous Happenings!
Here is some more catch up.
Here is our 1st Family photo with Dalton.

Here is Dalton's 1st Park day. We were changing a diaper on the picnic table.

Here is Uncle Brent pushing all the cousins on the swings.

My sister came to visit with her two kids a while ago and we went and did some fun things.
Here we are at Greenbluff picking blackberries and peaches. Then we stopped at a little shop and had some ice cream and the kids played around.

Here we are at the park, celebrating Valleyfest.....the girls loved the pony rides.

Here is Hailey's fieldtrip to Greenbluff. It is always one of our favorites.

My birthday came and went. I got some beautiful flowers from Sam and I made a pumpkin pie for my dessert, it was the best. But one of my favorite things was enjoying my baby, since it was last year on my birthday that I found out I was having a miscarriage. So it was so enjoyable to be able to hold and kiss my babies sweet chubby cheeks.
This never happens.....

our kids don't just randomly fall asleep in places anymore unless they are sick and this is just adorable.
Here is Dalton at one month old. Check out the chub. He definitely isn't starving.

Here are my little homemakers helping me make zucchini cake.

Dalton has really started smiling and giggling a lot. Here is his first smile caught on camera. Doesn't he have the cutest smile you have ever seen. He even has a dimple on his left cheek.

Here is our sweet little guys special day. First off their is a picture of his tux, that Grandma Kathie mostly made with some help from me. She did such a great job.

Isn't he so handsome!!

We all love love love having this little guy in our home. He is precious.
