I had to just show off my huge pile of laundry. We had our week long flu and then came the laundry. I think I washed three sets of sheets, every towel and blanket, not to mention the clothes plus all the regular use. After I got it all washed I said "Okay, tonight we are having a folding laundry party!" The kids were so excited to be having a party. They mostly just enjoyed the pile BEFORE it was folded. They were using it as their jumping pile. Then came the folding and that only lasted for a few minutes and then they just watched Sam and I fold the rest. It was fun though. Glad to be done with the flu, and all that came with it.

Quick Update!
So for the last two weeks we enjoyed the company of my sister Wendy and her two little ones, Brynnley(3) and Logan(8mos). (Pictures up soon) It was a lot of fun to have them here. We went on the Carousel, fed the ducks/seaguls at the park, played at the playplace in the mall, ate out, went shopping, celebrated a birthday, enjoyed conference, and all got the flu. That's right!! The first week we did a whole lot of stuff and had a blast and then the second week we all experienced the flu at one time or another. We still enjoyed being together but eventually in one form or another we were all down and out. Little Logan was so bad he almost had to be hospitalized because of his loss in fluid. But thanks to the wonderful priesthood and the blessing he was given, he returned to strength in time to go home. He had it the worst and the longest. Poor little guy.
On Monday, after we had dropped them off at the airport, Ashtyn was talking to her Grandma Kathie. And this is what she said, "Why does Wendy and Brynnley and Logan have to go home? I don't want them to go home. I want them to stay and be with us. Why do they have to go back to the city? Everyone leaves us and goes to the city. Brooke and Autumn moved to the city. They even used to have a house here by us and we could visit them and then Mark had to work somewhere else and now they moved away. Everyone moves away. Brent was here and we could be with him and then he moved away. Even Cody. He's so great. Even he moved away. Why does everyone have to move away?" It was so cute it just broke my little heart to hear what she had felt as they were leaving. We really wish there was a way to live by all of our family at the same time and just enjoy each other. Someday right!!
Just a quick scoop on Hailey, she went poop in the potty on Monday night for the first time. She isn't even really ready to potty train, as far as recognizing when she needs to go, but she is getting close. She usually tells me right after and then she wants to go sit on the potty. So we do and then she gets a diaper on again. But Monday she actually did something on there. We were all doing the potty dance with her. See isn't even two yet!!!
Ooo...I forgot one more little thing about Ashtyn....she finally got her first hair cut (Barb can you believe I went through with it??). Well, her little curly ends were finally starting to get a little scraggly so I decided it was time and after I talked to her about how it would make her hair healthier she agreed it was okay as long as it could stay long!! I did it but afterwards I couldn't believe how much I had cut off. It looks so much better but I can't wait for it to be longer again.
Well that was a quick little update. We will have more once I get our new four year olds pictures on the computer. Love ya all.
