Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

The weather here in Spokane is crazy. It definitely brings on new meaning to this song...

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

It started snowing here yesterday between 8:30 and 9:00am . We were in our house getting ready for Ashtyn to go to school. Well, on my way taking her to school it had snowed enough that it was sticking to the road and the grass was green and white.

Well it didn't stop snowing until about an hour ago. That is 32hours of snowing. Here is Sam trying to shovel his way into the house after working today.

And because of all that snow we have broken records and have over 20 inches of snow in our yard. Our cars are buried.

The girls went out and tried to play in it and Hailey's foot got stuck and she lost her boot and I had to go out and rescue her. They have had fun making trails and enjoying the snow though.

More Previous Happenings!

Here is some more catch up.

Here is our 1st Family photo with Dalton.

Here is Dalton's 1st Park day. We were changing a diaper on the picnic table.

Here is Uncle Brent pushing all the cousins on the swings.

My sister came to visit with her two kids a while ago and we went and did some fun things.
Here we are at Greenbluff picking blackberries and peaches. Then we stopped at a little shop and had some ice cream and the kids played around.

Here we are at the park, celebrating Valleyfest.....the girls loved the pony rides.

Here is Hailey's fieldtrip to Greenbluff. It is always one of our favorites.

My birthday came and went. I got some beautiful flowers from Sam and I made a pumpkin pie for my dessert, it was the best. But one of my favorite things was enjoying my baby, since it was last year on my birthday that I found out I was having a miscarriage. So it was so enjoyable to be able to hold and kiss my babies sweet chubby cheeks.

This never happens.....

our kids don't just randomly fall asleep in places anymore unless they are sick and this is just adorable.

Here is Dalton at one month old. Check out the chub. He definitely isn't starving.

Here are my little homemakers helping me make zucchini cake.

Dalton has really started smiling and giggling a lot. Here is his first smile caught on camera. Doesn't he have the cutest smile you have ever seen. He even has a dimple on his left cheek.

Here is our sweet little guys special day. First off their is a picture of his tux, that Grandma Kathie mostly made with some help from me. She did such a great job.

Isn't he so handsome!!

We all love love love having this little guy in our home. He is precious.

Finally!

Okay so I am finally posting since having Baby D!! It has been a busy (almost) three months, but I intend to play a little catch up. I really feel bad that I have not been posting my growing little boy. They change so fast and I have really wanted to do better. After he was born we just had to rebound pretty quick because school started the next week and it has been a crazy whirlwind ever since.

Dalton is the sweetest little boy. We love having a boy and have already enjoyed some of the changes we have noticed between girls and boys. For one, he came out grunting and growling unlike our girls which were ooohhs an aaahhhs. It is a lot of fun.

1st bath

1st hand sucking

Notice the fro he has when his hair is all clean. It just stands straight out.

1st Family Home Evening

1st swing time

Proud Sisters

1st day of kindergarten for Princess Ashtyn and our first kindergartener

1st day of preschool for Miss Hailey May

This is a funny little thing. That first week of school they learned about healthy bodies and as part of the lesson they talked about going to the doctor. Well they each got their own Dr. kit that had the dr. head band, bandages, bandaids, tongue depressors, etc.
Well, this was Hailey after she got home from school.

This was her later that night.

This was the next day....she didn't want to take that bandaid off.

Here are my sleepy boys

Here are the girls sunflowers this year. A lot taller then last year.

And here is Dalton at 2 weeks old. At his appointment he weighed 10 lbs. 13 oz. They said he must be getting straight cream!
